Addacolor resin bound for Isle of man motor museum

Addagrip Terraco were delighted to be involved in creating this stunning Addacolor Resin Bound logo at the Isle of Man Motor Museum in Jurby.

Situated on the Former RAF Jurby site, the Isle of Man Motor Museum was purpose built to house over 400 vehicles and was officially opened in May 2015. As part of the external surfacing area, the client was looking to feature a colourful logo in a hard wearing surface to match the bespoke colour requirement for this feature area.

Surfacing requirements

Addagrip approved contractor Quest Landscape Services were invited to install the 12m diameter Isle of Man three leg logo in a RAL matched green and white Addacolor Resin Bound surfacing onto a porous concrete base to form a central external feature area that can be used for vehicle display purposes.

Quest designed the template which was fixed to the surface and infilled with the bespoke Addacolor green blend. The white Addacolor for the three leg emblem and 60 perimeter circles was then installed to create a smooth surfaced logo which will be edged to create a raised ‘stage’.

The museum is delighted with the finished result which provides a highly decorative feature that will be low maintenance and durable.

Addacolor resin bound surfacing can be matched to any RAL colour to create corporate designs.
