Resin bound permeable paving was the perfect solution for the driveway of this property in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA.
Surfacing requirement
The client was looking for a decorative, low maintenance surface that would be a suitable overlay for the heated asphalt driveway to ensure that the paving would be frost and snow free in the winter months.
Addagrip approved contractor Chameleon Ways installed 111sqm of resin bound permeable Addaset in a 6mm New Scandinavian Pearl blend to create a seamless surface with good slip resistance. The property is surrounded by tall trees which created a challenge when installing the new paving in the Autumn due to falling leaves. The team had to constantly blow off the leaves to keep the driveway clear during installation.
The new surface was completed with block edging in complementary grey tones. The under drive heating system installed with the asphalt base melts the snow and ice so the clients never have to shovel or plow and ensures the new drive looks fantastic all year round.
The installation was completed at the end of October 2022.
