Tuffnells, a logistics management company for business parcels and consignments, was looking for a functional, cost effective, seamless paving for an external cycle rack and social area at its Northampton Depot.
Addaflex-R, the latest addition to the Addagrip Terraco External Surfacing range, offers a blend of recycled rubber sourced from tyres and natural aggregates to create a flexible resin bound paving option offering a low maintenance, resilient surface with flex and porosity. The product is suitable for pedestrian areas and walkways that require a more flexible, functional surface and those projects requiring a recycled content product.
Addagrip approved contractor Spadeoak was invited to install 70m2 of Addaflex-R in a practical Buff Noir blend using a 50/50 aggregate to recycled rubber ratio creating a functional, decorative outdoor space.
The installation was completed in January 2020.
