When it came to creating a driveway for this property in London, the client approached Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd looking for a minimum dig surfacing solution that did not require a concrete or asphalt base and would be porous, hard wearing as well as provide a decorative, low maintenance finish.
Surfacing requirements
Our innovative Terrabase Rustic Resin Bound surfacing product was considered but the client was looking for a more contemporary looking finish and a lighter colour. Terrabase Classic offered the perfect solution. Using our Terrabase system with a 40mm depth of Addaset BBA approved Resin Bound surfacing , the client was able to select a 6mm Scandinavian Pearl aggregate blend.
The installation provides a contemporary look which is SuDS compliant to ensure the maximum flow of rain water onto the newly paved area reaches the sub base below.
