Rustic resin bound look for listed building driveway in Nantwich

Cheshire Driveway

resin bound driveway in Nantwich

Addagrip approved contractor, Resin Bonded Surfacing Ltd of Doncaster recently finished a beautiful Terrabase Rustic resin bound porous driveway at this striking property in Cheshire. Built around 1640, the Grade II listed property is typical of a black & white timber framed Cheshire house of the period.

The client was looking to replace the existing driveway and saw our patented Terrabase Rustic system on the Addagrip stand at the Grand Designs Live show in Birmingham. The benefit of no-dig Terrabase Rustic is that it does not need a concrete or asphalt base so could be installed directly onto the existing hoggin surface with minimum disruption.

Over 170sqm of Terrabase Rustic Gold blend was installed to create a beautiful driveway and parking area. When preparing the driveway to be resurfaced, the client discovered a disused Victorian brick-built well: “We wanted to mark the size and position of the old well for future owners, so we had RBS make a template of it and mark the well with a circle in a darker Terrabase Rustic Oak stone blend”

The client is delighted with the rustic looking finish which complements the style of the building and provides a seamless, porous, low maintenance driveway surface that is aesthetically pleasing and very practical.
