Resin Bound surfacing provides new pathways and drive for property in Staffordshire

Newcastle Driveway

Over 200m2 of Terrabase Rustic Gold minimum dig resin bound surfacing was installed for this sweeping driveway for the owner of a property in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire. Addagrip approved contractor Resin Floors Telford Ltd was asked by the customer to create a decorative driveway to complement the style of the house and new brick stone walls.

Surfacing requirements

As part of a project including landscaping of the existing gardens, the client was keen to use a non-invasive base build up to achieve maximum porosity. Terrabase Rustic, which only needs a compacted Type 3 base, was the perfect option. Available in a range of 6-10mm aggregate blends, this product offers excellent flow rates whilst offering a low maintenance, durable paving.

Having discussed a range of colours ranging from greys to buffs, the client opted for Rustic Gold to create a natural looking aggregate finish.

The driveway installation was completed in September 2019
