The Addagrip 1000 System is a specialist concrete repair solution that offers rejuvenation of spalled concrete for airport paving including runways, aircraft stands and helipads.
A major problem with concrete is that deterioration is caused by latent defects, chemical attack and frost damage, which over a period of time causes the top of the concrete to break-down. This breakdown may cause a safety or FOD (Foreign Object Damage) problem requiring removal of the affected areas.
The Addagrip 1000 system seals and protects airfield concrete pavements that are suffering from ASR (alkali-silica reaction) more commonly known as ‘concrete cancer’.
The Addagrip 1000 System has been developed to treat top layer as well as deep damage and to seal small cracks and spalled surfaces on concrete. Applying the Addagrip 1000 System Resin onto the damaged or spalled surfaces of concrete will prevent further deterioration, prolonging the life of the concrete of up to 10 to 20 years.
