Addagrip were approached to install a BBA approved Resin Bound porous surfacing to rejuvenated the swimming pool surround at this holiday complex in Brittany, France.
Le Rhun, a former Breton cider farm, offers families a relaxing holiday in one of five unique holiday gites on the beautiful Crozon Peninsula, in Brittany, France.
Surfacing requirements
The existing swimming pool was surrounded by a concrete surface that was starting to show signs of wear and tear and the client was looking to resurface the area with something more aesthetically pleasing which would be low maintenance, porous and slip resistant.
The client selected Addabound Resin Bound porous surfacing in a 6mm Oyster blend to transform the pool surround with a stunning new seamless surface. Addabound contains a minimum of 27% recycled content and is available in 10 natural aggregate and recycled material blends.
The pool was also several centimetres above the existing concrete surface so our approved contractor had to first regulate the pool surround to ensure that the new paving would be flush with the pool edge.
The client is delighted with the Addabound surface which has given the pool a new lease of life. The porous paving solution ensures that there is not surface water and good slip resistance.
