Resin bound Addaset paths for Oil Nut Bay

Addagrip approved contractor Chameleon Ways has installed our Addaset resin bound permeable paving system for the pathways leading to this stunning villa in Oil Nut Bay, British Virgin Islands.

Part of a luxury development of high end properties on the eastern tip of Virgin Gorda, the boutique property is one of 180 homesites across 15 unique neighbourhoods, each with something distinctive to offer. The lush tropical island is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea giving each property a stunning view.

Surfacing requirement

The client was looking for decorative, high-quality surfacing with excellent slip resistance for the steep pathways up from the coast and selected Addaset resin bound permeable paving for the pedestrian walkway that connects the estate and the water.
The main challenges were the weather (rainy season) and getting materials to the island which is only accessible by boat and helicopter.

Work was carried out to install over 120sqm of Addaset resin bound surfacing in a Lucerne Silver blend in keeping with the contemporary design of the property. Wooden edging was installed to create a series of levels and steps to cope with the sloping access up to house. The new surface provides a beautiful, low maintenance, permeable solution to suit the terrain and tropical climate.

The installation was completed in September of 2021.
