The initial enquiry for this recently renovated property in Bristol was to apply a Spray Tar and Chippings decorative surface dressing to the existing macadam driveway.
Concerns were raised regarding the numerous over-hanging trees and the maintenance of their falling foliage, and after several meetings, discussions, samples and viewings of other works over a period of a year, due to its ability to be pressure washed, Resin Bound Gravel was selected.
The client was initially of the opinion that Resin Bound would appear ‘too modern’ for their property, but Addagrip’s Terrabase Rustic provided the perfect solution.
Various preparation works were undertaken including macadam repairs, raising of existing iron works, installation of new recessed covers plus surface regulating, prior to the 805m2 application.
The Rustic Beach was installed in only three sections in order to provide just x2 suitable, inconspicuous day-join locations.
