Resin bound non invasive pathway makeover for 12th Century Saxon church

Wisley Church Paths

Resin bound church paths Wisley

Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd was asked to renovate the existing paths at this historic 12th Century Saxon church in Wisley, near Woking, Surrey.

Surfacing requirements

The existing loose gravel pathways were in need of repair and the church required a hard standing solution for better access around the grounds. The requirement was for a no dig solution with minimal disruption and digging out of the existing surface due to the presence of protected wild Orchids growing around the site. Addagrip resin bound Terrabase Rustic provided the solution.

Paths were scrapped back to a suitable depth and timber edges installed with a limestone capping layer prior to laying approx. 81m2 of the Terrabase Rustic Gold, creating seamless, low maintenance paths providing all weather access.

Work was completed with minimum disruption in February 2020.
