True Grip Ltd were chosen to install this unique and complex design during the refurbishment of the famous, grade II listed, Brighton Band Stand.
True Grip Ltd designed and installed a specialist 'Former' system to allow the different colours of Addaset recycled glass and aggregate to be installed to the exact design and shape making allowance for the variations in the macadam sub base to ensure the surface was flat and smooth.
Richard Nicholls Contracts Director for True Grip said ‘’This was a challenging project that all our operatives embraced and got excited about. Our operatives took great pride in completing the project on time, within budget and without one snag being raised by the main contractor’’.
Aggregates used were 6mm Pacific glass laid at 18mm, 6mm Agean glass at 18mm, 6mm Light Atlantic glass at 18mm and Yellow Cream at 18mm.
